Something is bothering him to cause him to behave like this. Talk with him and see if you can find out what's wrong.

Understand that at 7, he is not going to understand what is making him angry and he won't have the words to express himself well. You'll need to be patient and ask lots of questions while reassuring him that you love him and want to make "it" go away.

Later, when you find out what is wrong, you'll need to help him learn to cope with his problems.

Discipline is not the complete answer here. He needs to understand that what he did is not acceptable but first you need to find out why.

You need intervention. Where is his father? Is he available to help? Your son's behavior is going to cause both of you misery if you don't get him in check soon. Unless you plan to have him become the next Tony Soprano, you have to speak to him. Find out why he feels the need to bully other children. Why is he so insecure and aggressive? You must discipline him (Don't beat him, please) so that he stops taking things from other kids. He tried to take your cell phone to school. How did you resolve that with him? Speak to the guidance counsellor. You may want to consider taking him for psychological evaluation if he continues on this path.

discipline him (you may be already)

but i find parents these days are too afraid of punishing their kids and would rather coddle them rather than discpline them and then they wind up getting away with stuff they shouldn't.

if you are already discplining him, you may need to be stricter in disciplining. You may also want to talk with the school to see if you can work together to find a solution. It may also be a good idea to contact the parents and let them know your aware that your son is bullying their kids and tell them how you are trying to remedy the situation.

I would also get your son to apoligize for the things he's done.

try talking to your child , there is always a underlined problem in why a child will bully , i always call it negative attention ,and explain the difference between negative and positive attention , you are obviously a caring mum and is very concerned , but remember the child wont admit to any thing at first but dont give up ,

You need to talk to him, find out if someone is bullying him. He may be copying someone elses behavior. Check yourself and any other adult in his life. He's only 7 there is time to fix this, be patient and listen.
