I don't see why not. She's still young. Her best grand slam result so far is a third round (at everything except Wimbledon), but she's already having a good year, with a doubles title under her belt. I think it's more likely she would win a slam in doubles than singles, but it's certainly possible for her to rise to the top of her game in the next couple of years and win a singles grand slam title.

Yes, she is a great talented player. No, she is not champ. material.
Look in tennis it is only 1% different between a Champ & a Loser. Just 1% & it is what counts to make u a winner !!! Champs know the important point that wins the game, then the set, then the match. Losers might know it, but can't do it. This is Kirilenko, Hantuckova, Petrova, Ivanovic, Vaidisova & many others.

At this point, NO! she does not posess the weapons and mental toughness of players in the top 10 and 20 who are in grandslam contention. She's a wonderful player don't get me wrong, but I don't see her ever making it past the quarter-finals of a grandslam in singles. For doubles, she is a chance, although there are many other players out there who are more experienced and technically better doubles players. Of course everyone is capable of improvement, but she's got a long way to go before she can make it. Maybe if the top 30 players all retired she could have a chance.

Not impossible, but very unlikely. She has a timid game, much like those of Martina Hingis and Anastasia Myskina, both of whom haven't come anywhere near to challenging the power players. Tricky shots can help your get past the lower players, but not against bazookas like Serena, Kim, Maria, Justine, Amelie, Nadia etc.

right now it really looks like she never will.

i don't understand why i have to hear all about her..? sure she's a decent player but i don't think she deserves all this recognition she's getting..i don't think she's ever even been in the top 20 (?).

she's pretty but there's nothing striking about her...i wish i'd stop hearing about her til she improves her game (which is what she really needs to do)
