Georgie M I can relate to as I have had similar experiences and know others that have as well Besides I liked the remark they made that put it into the context of their life. Fun, I get that.
Well ...even the Grand Canyon is special.
Is this an illusion that we think we live in. I have questions about perseption and how it alters our beliefs about reality.
So actually, I am leaning towards old George here. He just dosn't know! Not judging it is cool.
Hmmmm.

The most extraordinary ? One sees things every day that look ordinary but in point of fact, if one realized, could well have been extraordinary. But some years ago I was working as a fisherman, inside the coral reefs that dot North-Eastern Australia. There were a number of other fishing boats. We didn't know each other but we all were doing the same thing - fixing the holes in our nets in preparation for another foray. Then it happened !!! It was down nets and everybody was focused on the same extraordinary scene before our eyes. A mother pilot whale and her two calves had come near the boats. What could have been so extraordinary to a bunch of fishermen so used to seeing marine life on a day to day basis had to be witnessed by yourself. All I can tell you is that the sight of a majestic pilot whale with her two calves was truely extraordinary. I hope you can, too, witness it so that you could feel what we felt - nearly 30 years ago.

I went to a stage presentation. This guy held up an aluminum tube (vertically) and mounted a video camera inside it. He then dropped an object thru the tube, and on video, it fell at about 1/4 the speed an object normally falls. It was incredible. Wish I could remember his name. He wasn't a magician, he was showing some kind of technology and trying to get funding.

Watching the those dumb naive kids running around with such a foolish smile on their faces, without a care in the world. That's what makes me happy, it's simple but i think it's something i would cherish. It reminds me of when i was like that..dumb and naive..it's not so bad after all right? =D

The universe... from the outside!
When you realise where the conscious mind can travel then you have to question how it is connected to all that is...
I think therefore I AM... :-)
