Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight.
It is so haunting and so perfectly performed. I have found four versions of it (by Phil, live) and every one of them is awesome.
When Miami Vice (TV) first aired, they choose this song as the intro for the first show.

I don't per se have a favorite song, but I have a few favorite artists and favorite genres...
It feels like I am the only young one (19) around that loves the Old School R&B, especially MOTOWN. I also love the funk and soul music of yesterday. The O'Jays, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Luther Vandross, Tina Turner, Barry White (she and I listen to him every night), and many more.
It is very upsetting to hear how people talk about Alicia Keys being "soul music," not to mention how disrespectful it is of the real soul musicians. How discusting! These people MUST listen to Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, and Teddy Pendergrass to really understand what I mean.
That explains my music favorotes - Old School R&B, especially the pop (Motown)!
