microsoft no longer supports Win ME so they probably won't make a fix for the daylight savings time change. Your mom may have to manually change the time herself. Just double click the clock and set it up an hour.

you mean daylight savings time?
it should not. even old, old windows 98 changes the time automatically. my sister has ME on her comp. no trouble ever.

if it does not (for whatever reason) just go down to the bottom-right of the screen (on the taskbar) where the time is. double-click, and you can manually edit the time from there.

It's very simple to correct the time on the computer, and if your mom has any computer knowledge at all, it shouldn't be a problem.
