thats only because it's true!! i tell my girls friend "whats a 350 z" and she goes " whats that". honestly you guys don't.

They think that most girls don't know much about a car. Which that is true. But if you know something about a car. Then prove him wrong. Show him that you do know things about cars.

This is one stereotype that has still not left women. Many guys were raised in homes where their older female relatives had no interest in cars other than to drive from point A to point B.
I found the best way to overcome it when talking to a guy is to tell him what everything is when the hood is raised. It shuts them up fast and they treat you more respectfully.

well, my guy is different. he admits to know nothing about cars. I can say "baby, there is something wrong here and this is what I think it is...come look." and he'll reply "no, You can go look at your car all you want, I'll be right here"

Guys think that because they always think :
guys= cars, enginerring, mounatin climbling, etc.
girls= makeup, shopping, etc.
They think ALLLLLLLL(<--- stretching it out to make a point) girls are like that like the stuff i mentioned above.

because they are stereotypical at points. that just shows that your friend doesnt know you as well as he thinks he does.
