Each quarter of the lunar cycle is about a week. And a week is 7 days.
I hope I didn't sound too patronizing with that last sentence.

It varies a bit. For example, starting with the new moon on
March 19th, it is 6 days 15 hours 33 minutes to the first quarter, then another 7 days 22 hours 59 minutes to full moon, then another 8 days 0 hours 49 minutes to last quarter.
Then 6 days 17 hours 32 minutes to the next new moon, on April 17th.
Total cycle: 29 days 8 hours 53 minutes.

About one week from New Moon to First Quarter. Another week to Full Moon. Then another week to Last Quarter. Finally, one more week to New Moon again.

The total is 28 days so just divide by 4.
Are you also interested in knowing that in past human history the year was exactly 360 days and each month was 30. The distance from the sun increased.
