I can't recall the actual word used for when a person thinks something before the know the true facts. Like if a person is jumping to conclusions before the know anything. Sorta like if you hear someone and misinterpret it for something else then you get mad about it. Its hard to describe but I know there is a word for it.

Deja vu is the French term for seeing ahead, as in the future. Prejudice is the term for making up your mind by using a stereotype, or by judging before all the facts are presented. There are others. Consult a thesaurus for more options.

Predict is closest but not the only description of what you describe. It seems like the predictions are false however.
