I think if you feel someone posted something of interest to you and you feel like you can help them beyond the realm of yahoo answers you can send them your yahoo sn or let them know you really would not mind chatting sometimes...I would think it would be easy--especially if someone lists you as their best answer...maybe you have something in common with the person who posted their question...idk...hope this helps!

Be open and honest, thank people for choosing your answer as "best" and reply to e/mails.
Oh and use your judgment when answering insulting material.
