The first and most important one...that Christopher Columbus discovered America...native Americans "discovered" this land thousands of years earlier.

The next important one are the Pilgrims at Plymouth Rock. Pilgrims weren't nice people and most of this country was settled by criminals sent here from other countries as punishment and almost certain death.

The phrase "under God" inserted in the Pledge of Allegiance is an ethnocentric reference to Abrahamic religion.
