"We Belong Together" is the main song which actually got her nominated for eight grammies last year so technically that was the most important single she put out on her last cd
"Its Like That" is a club beat anthem that introduced MC back into the mainstream pop/R&B genre...personally I prefer "Its Like That" but both are great songs...I like the videos too

Really loved We Belong Together when it came out in '80 (?). But I sometimes enjoy Traces On The Western Slope more as it doesn't remind me of failed relationships, as well as having a more interesting structure/sound.
Wow, are we talking about Rickie Lee Jones or Mariah Carey? Rickie Lee Jones has a song called "We Belong Together" and an album called "It's Like This". I see it's probably Mariah Carey.
Oh well, if you get a chance, check out Rickie Lee Jones. She came out in the late '70's. She's good.
Also, I like "It's Like This" (for the same reason I had for liking Rickie Lee Jone's less emotional track) by Mariah Carey. I have it, too. Durn.
