Yes.
After the weird Court ruling in Grokster, that screwed the consumer badly, and gave the RIAA a victory, Limewire got trackers and blockers installed.
It wasn't alone. It is now like if you are asked by some stranger, "Where is the bank?" and they rob it, you are now an accomplice!
But, lots of the Free Open Source Software (FOSS) developers live in countries where genuine "FREEDOM of Speech" is protected, like Sweden.
So, 'frostwire dot com' is the site. Don't tell.
(But, you didn't hear it from me!) Always run a hardware firewall on a machine, like using ipcop.org on an old Pentium Class machine.
Why? because tons of spoof songs are out with embedded messages that "Phone Home" with your IP. So, in IPCOP.ORG, you can make it block outgoing messages.
Also, run a wifi system. they can't really win, when you do.

It's a free download site but the mp3 will only play 3 times, then you need to buy it or it wont play anymore. They also have an affiliate program where you can make money. Check it out.
Choice is kind of limited right now though.

go to purevolume.com. It has a lot of download-able songs for free, just click download - then in the next window-save file. It's really easy.

i use albumbase.com or their forum to ask 4 music or BTNHBoard.com or ZonaMusical.net or some i find on DogPile.com on audio and i usually get what i want
