i dont like rap or hip hop or anything. i love classic rock songs. so does anyone have any good suggestions for good classic rock songs from the red hot chili peppers, metallica or something like that?

If you're looking for good chilli peppers music and your new to it, Stadium Arcadium is their newest cd and it is fantastic. My favourite is blood sugar sex magic. If you are an experienced fan, look more into songs like Havana Affair(amazing) and other rare songs like that. Led Zepplin is good classic rock and so is Pink Floyd. You can check out Pink Floyd as a band or David Gilmore the guitarist has a CD called On An Island which is verry good and enjoyable for almost anyone. Hope this helps!

Metallica= my favs: Sad but True, Master of Puppets, Sanitarium, Fade to Black, Harvester of Sorrow, One, Shortest Straw, Feul, No Leaf Clover. Pantera: Mouth For War, 5 Minutes Alone, Shedding Skin, This Love. Danzig: Twist of Cain, Mother, She Rides. The Cult: Fire Woman, Santuary....I could go on...& on.

Try Pink Floyd. They are a perfect example of classic rock.
Some of their getting-to-know them songs: Time, Money, Another Brick in the Wall pt.2, Comfortably Numb, and Wish You Were Here.
Although they were boring to me at first, I began listening to them more and more. Now they are my favorite band. Their lyrics are deep and mysterious....which I favor compared to today's music.

Okay well I only like some rock songs but it may not be your style...anyway the ones I like by RHCP are "Under the Bridge", "Californication"...Incubus "Drive''...Cranberries "1979", etc.
