Sry, thats a toughy... Depression sux, i've been there... But since your a singer, I suggest that you try to put your emotions into your music... I believe in order to be a band you have to trust one another, so if they don't know how you feel they will never be able to understand whats going on with you... As for being shy, there is only one way to get over it... thats just letting it go, which isn't easy... but itll hold u back until your able to let you be you no matter where your at or who ever is around you... then maybe one day youll be giving someone else your outlook on the same question... Goodluck and I hope it all works out, but don't give up just because you're scared...

Keep yourself busy. I would suggest working out, The Band, and being there for your Mom.
Working out will help release the tension, the exercises, and activity will help your body produce Endorphins to help you not stress. It doesn't have to be anything complicated, and can be as simple as taking a walk. Keep you looking fit, and more confident.
The band is a great idea to keep yourself busy as well. Use the emotion you feel to write a song about what is happening. Emotion and tough times make great material for a song.
Usually in the band one person is semi in charge/ manager type. Talk to them a little bit about the problem as well therefore letting them be your spokesperson to the rest of the band regarding it. Remember its part of a team.
Take some voice lessons !!

Do the good things in life, whetever they are and avoid negative people/influences.I have other problems id rather not discuss but I carry on.....and im happy.....and I dont use drugs. Smile and realise how important friends are. I hope things get better for you I really do!

Talk to your band members. If they don't care they aren't your band members. See a therapist at a mental health center and medication will help. funny tho, once I got on lithium I felt so much more like myself. Good luck

I like bright light at home and loud music but that may not be you. You might go for a full medical exam and check out solutions at www.webmd.com Good luck.

If being in a band is what would make you happy, by all means, join the band!
And then, fake it until you make it.

I'm positive you can find someone in your school to talk to.
Maybe a teacher, counselor, social worker?
Take care.
