At that point, I would just lay there and try not to be too uncomfortable. But it's still enjoyable and the doctors will tell you that it might help start up your labor. Good luck!

Sex is ok during pregnancy unless in high-risk pregnancys, during the last 8 to 12 weeks if a woman has a history of premature labor, or if your doctor doesnt want you too( for any reason.)But only your doctor can answer your questions better than any of us(since they know you better, and your situation.)But laying on your back is not good after 4 months.

It's not easy at this point (I'm 36 weeks), but it's doable. I don't really enjoy it much anymore, but I'm trying to induce labor (otherwise I have to be medically induced on the 19th, long story), so I'm doing it anyway.
Prostoglandins. I'm all about the prostoglandins.
The only way we can do it anymore is "doggie style" - everything else is too uncomfortable. I've heard of people doing it in a side-lying position, but it gives me leg cramps.

I'm 22 weeks and its still good to me. I have had 2 children prior and had sex up until the day before I delivered. Just a little uncomfortable cause the weight, but if my husbands still wants it - I'll give it!

YES! YES! YES! I wanted to do it all the time when I was pregnant, so my husband got quite a work out. He no longer thinks that 5-7 times a day sounds fun. (Poor guy) Something went wild with my hormones and so I just enjoyed myself. We did it all the way up to the day I went into labor. So enjoy!

Orgasms are more powerful, and sex can help to induce labor as long as you climax, but when you reach a point where you're so big... well... let's just say the desire might be there, but the motivation is a whole other story!

Sex is good during pregnancy as long as your doctor has nto told you otherwise. I think it is healthy: it increases your heart rate (in most instances) and even though that is not substitute for exercise it is something that could be good.

I noticed only women answering, but I know not to place pregnant women in celibacy now. In fact, if performed with care and gentleness, sex is ideal to maintain nimble flexibility of the joints and muscle tone for the contractions. Of course it's up to the lady, but I've never been turned down.

its diff. with every pregnancy, most likely there is nothing wrong with sex during your pregnancy. to be positive you should ask your doctor because you could be at high risk of goin into labor soon

Well doctors say you can, but i dont think this far into the pregnance. YOU ARE ABOUT TO EXPLODE AND YOU WANT HIM TO STICK HIS PENIS IN YOU AGAIN! Just wait. THe kid is almost out. Wait. You can have all the sex you want after the birth. I mean damn! just hold on
