Ok I have a question for all, I will not judge you by your answer.
I have 2 young boys, and I was watching tv and on dateline they do this thing called how to catch a preditor.
so, after that I went on a website and put in my zip code and over 1000 sex offenders are living by me. I also live by 2 elementery schools and a high school. just in a 6 block area there are over 100 offenders and the majority of the offenders was caught and charged with molestation of a child under the age of 14! some are repeat offenders (arreset for the same crime after release) So my question is, why do these people get released to begin with? I know our prision systems are full (or so they say) But most of these people deserve to be in for life like the guy that beat and raped a 5 year old girl. or the guy that raped his neice and then smashed her head into ground.
why do they get to plea insanity? so if they can change, why cant charlie manson?

Yes lets let out people that rape children and beat them, but lets keep in the guy that bought a bag of weed.
Or better yet, I was reading a story about this lady that seen a psychic and gave her $5000 to bless and the lady got mad cause she didnt see the result she wanted so they locked up the psychic for 10 years (why didnt she see that comming? lol) Hey can I lock up the guy that cleaned my carpet? the stain came back....

Old Chuckie can't change because he REFUSES to. He brags about how he still has power in prison. He still basically says he didn't do anything wrong because he didn't physically commit the murder. Why let out someone who gets convicted of a DUI? See by this type of logic we really shouldn't let anyone out of prison. I can understand in cases of repeat offenders, and I admit that is just the wrong area to put them. Funny thing is you are doing exactly what the orginal Megan's Law did. That BTW was found to be UNCONSTITUTIONAL in Pennsylvania. Ok here is the problem of your logic. You are putting the Burden of Proof(you are insisting they WILL do it again) on the defendent. According to the Constitution though our legal system puts the Burden of Proof on the STATE. The State has to prove that the person is going to do it again. I'm not getting into opinions, I'm stating the law. Most here will give you opinion and I can't argue with the opinion these people should be locked away for good, espically repeat offenders. The question though was why do we ALLOW them back in, so I'm going by the LEGAL end.

Because our system tries to be a system of justice, where the punishment fits the crime, not the hyperbole of the time. That is why tyranny of the majority is checked in this country also. Reading some of these barbaric answers make me wonder just who society really needs to be protected from. Really considered opinions here and I say that with all sarcasm.

Our justice system is very flawed.
People who commit such crimes need to be put in jail for a looonnnggg time. If they plead insanity, they need to be locked up in mental institutions. Basically, they shouldn't be roaming the streets as if they were innocent.

NOT Kidding, They should be:

Branded on the face(saying I am a sick *uck)
They should be sent to prison for life (they could get action there if you know what I mean)
They should get their house and car label with the words "I am a sicko wanting to hurt little boys and/or girls

Why not kill them. We could all survive with out them.

Don't be afraid blackmail or egg their house.

Just my 2¢

Castrate them then let them go
