They are on the play-off bubble and they are playing the worst goalie in the NHL IMO. I watched Joey MacDonald play growing up and through the junior ranks and am SHOCKED that he has made it to the NHL. What is worse is that the Bruins have been reported as saying he will get atleast one start per week. They must see something in him that I never did or they don't want to make the play-offs. He may have been OK today (I don't know) but this is a big mistake by them. I am not a Bruin fan and don't care either way-just an observation. Sinden must be pulling the strings again.LOL.

I agree. I was so happy when the Wings traded him. He played 5 or 6 games with them before he got his first win. I cringed every time they said he was in net. I never understood what they saw in him.

First of all Sinden isnt the GM anymorehasnt been for a long time and after the horror show last season he bearly even has a say in the team anymore, second the reason they started MacDonald is because they have another matinee game tomorrow against detroit that Thomas is starting. And as for being on the playoff bubble as a die hard bruins fan I can only pray they dont make it because it will be a quick exit. But I do like what Peter Chiarelli the new GM is doing with the team they have a good young core that will compete in the next couple of years,as for MacDonald he and Thomas will both be gone next year with the emmergence of tukka rask they will keep toivanen around to help rask acclimate to the states since they are both Fins.

Joey came for free. They picked him up on waivers. They got what they paid for!

I don't get it either. I lived in Mass. for a while and I used to follow the Bruins. They let Thornton go for nothing! Last year they ranked 17th in the league for attendence. The year I lived there they broke the league record for tie games, talk about boring 32 tie games in one season!

It seems like sabotage to me.

I don't know about strings, but someone's definitely pulling something.
The only one's benefiting from his starts are the opposition
The Flyers seem to like him
and they (like Mikey) hate everything

That call confused me too, but I guess they figured they wouldn't have such a hard time with the Flyers. But Marty is looken nice tonight.
