I don't know because I cannot see your feet or your shoes. Your best bet is to ask your teacher. S/he will be able to tell you much better than anyone over the internet.

If the arches aren't that flexible but they feel really soft then I suggest you order a new pair and start breaking in the second pair, but you can probably continue wearing your first pair until you can't dance in them anymore..then you have a second pair already broken in...

If they are too soft they are not going to support you and eventually damage your feet severely. IT sounds like you still need to break in your arches, but if they are really soft, it's best to get knew ones for your safety.

May I ask, what did you do to break them in and how long have you had them for?

I would show them to your teacher or a professional who fits dance shoes. They will know if they are too soft and should be able to help tell if you need new ones. If you go to a professional, they may be able to help fit you for news ones the day, if needed.

not at all any dancer or dance shop will tell u that there are two sorts of pointe shoes soft and hard pointes, me personally i used to hit the glue on my hard pointes with a hammer till they softened because for classes and rehearsals soft pointes are far easier to learn on. I only used hard pointes for actual performances or exams

it depends on whether or not you had these pointe shoes fitted by a professional. if so, he or she probably knew what you would need for your feet and gave you those shoes accordingly. they would never sell you shoes that arent right for you. if not, i suggest you take the pointe shoes to a professional place that does pointe fittings and ask them to check if the shoes have the right shank size, and that they are defective.
