i would buy call of duty 2 for the single player and halo 2 for the multiplayer. i know a lot of people like gears of war, but personally i thought it was pretty boring. great graphics but i wasnt interested in the game play.

Ive played all of those games and i like gears the best, but if you want a game thathas a great online play that you wont get tired of for a long time i would go with halo. I was hooked on halo for about a year and a half uintill i started playing gears. And im starting to get kinda bored of it already. I bought lost planet and it is really fun but i got stuck on it already and im virtually nowhere in the campaign and it is kind of a hard game to understand. Call of duty was ok but if u were gonna get that i would get call of duty 3 not 2. Call of duty was fun but not really fun. The graphics werent that good and it is really easy to die.

Gears of war is by far the best halo 2 is still good so pick out of those lost planet isnt all that great.

These are very different games. I personally have Halo 2 for and Call of Duty 2. I thin k you should definitely get Halo 2. You should look up their review at http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/action/halo2/review.html
