Most tennis websites have a message board. Players are always selling new and used racquets online. Try
tennis4all.com
tennis4you.com
tt.tennis-warehouse.com

Ask friends for older racquets. For example I got a ROK for 30 dollars from a friend.

Your local tennis court pros will probably have used rackets or rackets that didn't work out for the person who bought it. If they don't, ask if they have a bulletin board where you can post for a racket. If you don't know what you need as far as weight and control have a pro give you an idea what would be best for you.

You should check out the online stores( www.tennis-warehouse.com is just one of many). A lot of the time they have really good sales and you can get a great stick for not much money. Some will even ship for free.
