How have you had a meal ruined?

I have ruined a meal... first wife... took her out to dinner... and looked over at her as the main course was being served and said, "damn, I just can't do this anymore"

One time, I was nursing my daughter,and trying to eat at the same time. Lets just say, as my dinner was going down, hers suddenly came up! Yeah, that definetly ruined my meal, lol. Oh, and another time, my daughter was really constipated. I was taking off her diaper, and the poor lil thing was still poopin. Have you ever seen those go-gurt tubes of yogurt? Imagine what it would look like to squeeze peanut butter out of one of those... Thats what was happening insider her diaper. Totally ruined peanut butter for me and my poor hubby who happend to be sitting right next to me. Ick. I think I just ruined the dinner I havent even eaten yet. LOL.

Sitting on the kitchen table was yesterday's mail. The same kitchen table I was sitting at waiting for my Cream of Wheat to cool down enough to eat. In the mail my mom had gotten an order of praying mantis eggs to put in the garden(they eat pest bugs) Guess when the eggs hatched? About a thousand itty bitty bugs started marching across the table and my breakfast. My mom is trying to scoop them up and find something to put them in; oblivious to my horror! She said, "You can eat your cereal, it won't hurt you. Their feet aren't dirty! I was in second grade.

I sat down for dinner with friends one day and my friend's boyfriend's cell phone rang. She'd been with the guy for about two years. His phone was really loud, so we could hear the entire conversation..

He was being asked to come in and take a paternity test because he'd been named as the father of somebody's baby. The waitress brought our food right after he hung up, but none of us felt like eating anymore.

I have had people knock at the door determined to save my soul and want to explain to me why their church is the one and only true church when all I want to do is sit down and eat my meal in peace.

Went to a restaurant that only had one waitress. It took her a half hour to take the order and it

I had a tray of drinks partially spilled on me once at a restaurant. Fortunately, we got dinner and drinks comped for 6 of us that night plus clothing replacement for me.
