Has anyone ever been to a maid cafe?
Recently, i've heard that some anime cons have been having their own maid cafes anyone been to one?
I really want to go (or work at one >///< that would be so awesome)
Or any other thoughts on them in general. I'd LOVE to go to this one butler cafe I saw ^///^

As far as I am aware of, maid cafes are more common and popular in Japan and frequently appear there.
I've been to the biggest anime con in the US (anime expo) and have been to Sakura con and am familiar with a number of expos (in the US) and have never heard of maid cafe's in anime conventions, although i'm sure they have maid cafe/exibits at japanese conventions.
I think there are a few scattered here and there in the US but if it's something you'd like to work at, it would probably involve moving

I think it's something to enjoy for people who like to cosplay and like attention while cosplaying as characters such as maids and whatnot.
