I've been suggesting for a few months that he should change his name....both middle and last....to something like
Barack Cassius Russell.....nobody whose name rhymes with Osama will ever be elected President of this country.
People will never admit it but when they get in the voting booth everything gets real simple and basic.
He's toast with those two names.

Probably for some people the name will matter, but are those people really thinking of voting for him anyway? Are they just trying to cloud the issues by calling attention to his name. If that is all they have, they had better come up with something else cause his name isn't a problem for many & neither is his race!

I hope not that would be a damn shame if his shot at the presidency were ruined just because of his name... and maybe the fact that he's not white, i mean he he were 100% white it would be a non issue but just because his skin tone resembles the skin tone of a middle eastern person, people will look at his name and automatically associate him with some terrorist organization.

People are all ready making an issue of it and declaring him a muslim extremist and a member of the black church.

The middle name is not an uncommon name at all

What, like lobotimized conservatives who make a big issue out of his middle name were going to vote for him anyway?

I think we all as Americans have to overlook that. We need to look at his record and determine if he is worth voting for. In my opinion, he does not have enough experience at the federal level of govt (only 2+ years as a senator) to be president. Also, his always votes the opposite of the way I think. I would never vote for him based on those two reasons. (at this time).

Yes, Barack Bahama does have identity issues; he can't tell if he's Black or White. He presents himself as Black but walks, talks and acts like a White....

Seeing how popular he is currently, his name is definitely not an issue.

If that is an issue for voters I think it is petty.
