Come on ladies it's got to be her first one! Don't be so mean. Just get your other half up from watching the game and go to the hospital. If it's a false alarm. It won't be the first one. If it's for real good luck and you can name it after me Bob's not a bad name. (lol)

The baby isn't coming out until you are in labor. However, the sensation to push the baby out does feel a lot like the need to have a bowel movement, and a lot of women have bowel movements when they're pushing (it is NO BIG DEAL to your doctor - they see it every day. In fact, it means that you're pushing correctly).
If you are having regular contractions, and you feel like you have to have a BM, it's a good idea to get to the hospital. I didn't know this, and I really nearly had my baby at home unintentionally! I'm lucky to live close to the hospital, or I would've had her in the car.
If you're not having regular contractions, then your cervix is closed, and there is a mucus plug inside of it (to keep harmful bacteria and germs out), and the baby is inside of a bag of waters inside of that. That's a lot to have come out without noticing. And it takes some serious work to get the baby out. You would know when the baby crowned that you weren't just having a BM - it hurts a LOT, and it hurts in your vagina, not your anus.
Having a baby is a lot more work than having a BM. You'd know the difference.

If the baby is ready to come out believe me it will not feel like going to the loo. You will know.
I know you probably find it hard to believe but the baby has a different exit to the ones used on the toilet and it is much harder for a baby to emerge.

You may feel like the baby is going to fall out, but trust me it wont, and when the baby comes out you will definitley know it. Its not going to just fall out while your going to the bathroom.

when you are in actual labor , they usually do not let you get up to go to the bathroom for a bowel movement for that reason. you use the same muscles to push the baby out, so they actually have you go right there and dispose of it.

As someone who watched his wife in agony for 36 hours of labor...you will know when the baby is coming out and it won't happen on the can.

Uhhh... everything has a different "exit" and you can clearly feel all exits. Having a baby is not like having a bowel movement.

First of all the baby comes out of a different hole then your poop. Is this a serious question? Or a joke?

the baby can't 'fall out'. Your cervix is closed until labour
