I am 37 1/2 weeks and due to be induced if I do not go into labor by next Thursday. I have tried everything to go natrually and now I think this might be it, but Im not sure.
I tried nipple stimulation today. I started at 5:30 for 10 minutes. I did it again at 6:30. By 7:30 I was having mild to moderate pain with contractions and back pain. I was laying down so I decided to take a walk on the treadmill to see if they were real but it is hard to tell because when I walk, the pain is constant and my belly stays hard so Im not sure if I had any when I was walking. I walked 1/4 mile and then I laid back down. Got another pain and tightening. When I sit, I get intermittent back pain and some cramping that runs down my left hip and thigh. Could this be real labor or more of those BH contractions? Thank you for all your help!

I forgot to mention that starting at 7pm my contractions were anywhere from 4 to 9 minutes apart and lasting from 15-30 seconds a piece. I have mostly back pain with them.
And when you have a contraction, do you have to be able to feel your uterus balling up from the outside or can you just have pain with them? Its my first pregnancy and Im not sure what to expect.
