Would you date a guy that seven years ago beat the crap out of a guy with a 1/2 gallon of orange juice.
In the meley the bread aisle a cracker rack and a small cake display was destroyed!
When leaving the store I could hear a pin drop.
Is that a bad impression?

Definitely a bad impression. I wouldn't date anyone who beat anyone up for any reason. To me, it shows a tremendous lack of self-control and insecurity ... not to mention that if he could so easily be provoked by a stranger in a grocery store, what does that say about my chances of being on the receiving end some day?

Well, maybe you shouldn't use the story as a pick up line.... What were the circumstances. And more importantly, are you proud of it or do you regret it. I know guys who did a lot more than that but they've changed and they are really nice guys who I would date if I didn't have a guy already.

If the guy he beat up was a child molester and deserved it, I would pardon him. Otherwise, it sounds like maybe he can't control his anger and that's a bad sign. Find out why he beat that guy up. If he was just having a bad day then I personally would avoid him.

I can see where that could cause a bit of concern. I am guessing this person must've done something really horrible to invoke the Wrath of Khan. What did they do, insult your shirt, or cut in line?
Perhaps medication and anger management might be of assistance in this situation?
