Nope. I wish there was a way that you could but I found that if I just buy a big lot to begin with then I can build or rebuild. Sims 2 Seasons is fun too. Now with the extra land around my houses they can play in the snow. If your worried about money here is a cheat incase you need it : hit Ctrl shift C / then enter kaching for 1k or enter motherlode for 50k
Now you won't have to worry about money to build your sims dream house and you won't have to worry about trying to add on. Have Fun Simming. I know I do.

No, its not. Once you choose the size lot you want your house to be on, you cant get more. That stinks, i know, i wish you could also.
