..........day after day, hour after hour..to the point where you're getting like, 1,000+ points per week?
what is your "real world" life outside like? how do you have time to work or do anything else?

I quit my job, told my friends to leave me alone, and order out a lot.

You have to remember that those in the upper ranks have unlimited voting and answering power. They also get thumbs up points from other contributors. So, they may not necessarily even be ON to get a 1000+ points in a week. Just have to have people willing to work for those extra points in voting and resolved. Each question has the potential of gaining up to 62 points.
Best answer = 10
Initial answer = 2
Thumbs up for best 2 times 25 = 50 (They cap at 50), I may even be wrong on that because I think there is one more point to distribute. But no less that 62 for each Best Answer. If you look at them they have answered THOUSANDS of questions, now do you see how it is possible to NOT be on the computer so many hours and still gain over a thousand points?

I haven't gotten 1000+ points a week for a while now but I do like to ask questions so that might take away a few points. Me I just neglect things alot more than I should.

Look, I do as I please. I moved 2100 miles away from everything I have ever known, I work every single day and so if I want to spend a few hours every other day here, who cares. I work is what I do. I work because that is my way of handling things. J/K. I don't spend a lot of time on here, about 1 or 2 hours every day or so.

i wish i could get 1,000 points per week! my real world includes grocery shopping, today we went to the museum, i took a nap, cleaned the debris in my back yard and gave one of my dogs a bath. ooo and i made awesome chalupas for dinner. inbetween when my daughters are scrapbooking, and my sons are on their ps2 i sit and give my wonderful much sought after answers! lol ;o)

My "real life" involves 4 kids and a houseful of cats and dogs.
4 horses that need exercising and mucking out, field work fencing, shopping,cleaning, and all that.
Basically i do not have any time to go on Y/A - really i am not here at all - you are imagining me.........
