Ok -I have long given up hope that the Harry Potter movies would be true to the books. But is anyone else bothered that Dan Radcliffe's hair is short in The Order of the Phoenix? Everything else is messed up for the movies, but you would think they would leave *Harry* the same!

I know!! It says specifically that Harry's harry is long and messy ALL the time and always grows out...but, Daniel Radcliffe IS getting more popular with the movie industry....like that horse one, maybe they needed him with short hair? idk

Actually Daniel Radcliff is the one who wanted the shorter hair in 5. He said he was getting tiered of it, and thought it was time for Harry to have a change of looks.

From what I could tell, his hair was short in all the films. Did you visualize Harry Potter to have long hair? It's not mentioned in the story and he could grow out his hair or cut it anytime he wishes. Why is that an issue to you? But to answer your question, I'm not bothered by it because it's a trivial detail.

I don't think it says anywhere in the fifth book that Harry's hair MUST be long......it's whatever way the directors and producers depict what is best to go with the storyline

I agree, it looked....well, just plain stupid in the previews. I gave up on the movies after the second. They all went downhill after The Chamber of Secrets...

Yeah, I've noticed that, I've looked at a few pictures of the cast for OOTP. Maybe he got a few split ends.
