I tried to introduce my little girl to formula and rice cereal and she did not take to it. So we ended up with a can and a box of rice cereal that we would hate to throw away. The formula is Similax Insomil Advance soy formula, 8 oz can that was a sample from the hospital. It was open last week and is missing one teaspoon of formula. The rice cereal is Earth’s Best Organic whole grain rice cereal 8 oz box which was open last week as well. The rice cereal is missing 2 teaspoons. I threw the box away and placed the cereal in a food container so that it would stay fresh longer. If any one needs it please let me know. We live in Woodland Hills and my husband works in the city, so you can pick it up from either place.

We are clean people and I am serious about conditions of my little ones food. The food has been kept in a cool dry place, I would not be afraid to give it to her, but she does not like it. If no one wants it I will try taking it to church on Monday. I really would feel horrible throwing it away knowing that someone couls use it to feed their baby.

I just wanted to tell you that you are very considerate for doing this! You don't find many people who are willing to give formula away. people these days try to sell anything they can! I would suggest calling local church's ( they have food drives all the time) Or you could donate to Salvation Army. Thanks so much for thinking of others!

If you don't have any legitimite takers- I would highly suggest posting this information on AOL.COM's- The Giving Tree board. Because the items have been opened, they obviously cannot be donated to a womens shelter. God Bless you though for the thought!

I know you're trying to be nice, but in this day and age I think you'll find it hard to find a stranger willing to accept food items for their child that have already been opened.
