I actually go to FIT (I'm a freshmen). If u really want to pursue a career in the fashion field u should take time out to figure out what u would like to do. Advertising, window display and all that other stuff. I'm not sure about the high salary because it depends on the person and what they do with their degree. Being a guy doesn't make a difference. A lot of guys don't attend FIT but all of the guys that I know are really great.

Well first check out the school first before you fill out any application.If you like the school and how its ran then fill the application out.Also there is no way you can know if you are going to get a high paying job.If you are good at what you do then maybe you cn open your own buisness doing what you do best and earn your own money working for yourself.

Should It matter if you're a guy? I love love love fashion design and I would love to pursue a job in the feild myself, but I'm not even In High school so I have time. But you, YOU should Pursue YOUR dream. Look at Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and TONS MORE male designers. They Earn Millions, doing what they LOVE, and you should too.

yes...FIT and Parsons are both excellent....
it depends upon what you want to do in the fashion business...
most designers went to a fashion school....
graphic design pays well..as does CAD design...
fashion design is very competitive..and you really have to love it....love the industry..and you'll be happy doing anything in it....i work in fashion..for a design studio in manhattan...and work with fashion designers everyday...and yes..i love it...
