absolutely. he has the body frame and the game that nba scouts are drooling over. the mobile big man is a hot commodity in the league. think garnett and dirk.

I agree with the Garnett comparison. I'd like to see a little more fire and spunk out of Durant, but he's got the complete package as far as skills.
He also needs to bulk up considerably. But KG did. Look at pictures of KG when he came into the league and compare them to now. It can be done.
Yeh, Durant will be a star in time.

If he goes to the NBA this year, no. Two years from now, yes. The longer you are in the NCAA the better you'll be. That even applies to Durant. Dickie V said so

I truly don't think Durant is going to be a star because he lacks the discilpline that other stars have had.

He's got more talent than any other freshman, maybe more than any other college player. If he can bring Texas deep into the NCAA tourny this year than there is no doubt in my mind that he will be a solid NBA player. Plus, he's already made a name for himself which is half the battle to stardom.

not a star cuz of all the hype around him but he'll be a good over all player 16 point 5 rebound type player but he has the chance to become a rip hamilton type player

He will be a great player right from the start of his career. This guy's great. He'll be a contributer his first year and an all-star by his second.

he has the offense, not so sure about the defense. he has also to get stronger, one of his weaknesses is his strength and at the nba, guys his size will over power him.
