You hear a decent amount about how teens are becoming pregnant from misusing condoms. Im just wondering how the Hell do you misuse a condom? Its not exactly the most complex thing in the world, what are they doing that could possible mess it up?

wrong size, reusing, falling off, not put on all the way, wrong kind, not a condom at all, destruction before use, stored in too high of heat: car, etc.failure from manufacturing. Only safe sex is no sex.

Uncontained Sperm CAN & WILL find it's way

Even 40 year olds who are silly enough to not put the condom on BEFORE PLAYING AROUND TO MUCH can make the same mistake

If sperm touches female genitals & she is ripe, then she WILL BE PREGNANT

Trust me.. I have a 39 year old friend that this happened to...

Teens.. with teens my actually guess is (1) NOT READING DIRECTIONS.. perhaps need for practice BEFORE the "BiG MOMENT" (2) STUPID RE-USE... for a bunch of reasons NEVER re-use a condom (3) last, but certainly not least... most teenage boys aren't yet "full size" and the condom may not fit as TIGHT as it needs to in order to be effective

sometimes people misuse condoms by putting it on the wrong way and taking it off and reversing it..this could lead to getting pre *** on the condon which most likely ntou dont get pregnant from...also using ultra thin condoms that can break and you dont notice untill you pull out then u already did the deed..ooops..yeah not fun...just make sure that its on right if not use a new one and always pull out right before ejaculation and you should be safe,

one of the common mistakes made, is the air space at the tip of the condom

you have to leave room for the semen, if not the condom could break, or the semen could be pushed up the sides and spill out

some people think it's okay to have sex, then use the condom towards the end. at that point it could be too late.

another common mistake I would say, is not removing the condom immediately after intercourse. some people like to "cuddle" or just rest, before pulling out, and when the penis starts to loose it's erection, semen can spill back out of the condom

Well usually condoms are made for MEN not teenagers and the margin for error is probably factored in by the fact that these BOYS are using condoms and are not fully grown and the condoms fall off....and by the way condoms are made of laytex or lamb skin...not plastic!!!

I think maybe some of them are not putting the condoms on until they have already been messing around for a while and after the precome has already started.

Some people reuse them. No joke, they rinse them out and use them over. I have no idea how anyone would find that NOT disgusting.

Or they roll them on the wrong way, take it off and put the same one back on, and tear it without noticing.
