The median household income in Nashville is 44,000. That's pretty much the middle of the state.

Murfreesboro, which is south of Nashville has a median income of 43,000.

Columbia, also south of Nashville is $39,000.

Nashville has the highest median income in the state so $45,000 you're going to be right in the median range.

That sounds to me like a good salary. It depends on the area of middle TN also. Nashville pays more than smaller cities but the cost of living is a little higher. I live in a very small town in TN and my pay is half that with a bachelors degree. Go for it!!! :)
