do leg exercises like luges and lifts, but with low weight and alot of reps...that will tone them and make sure you stretch your legs well in between each different exercise so that they get strong, lean, and slender.

Try running or walking more places more often and riding a bike if you have one or make a daily routine that works for you.

just do some type of cardio...running wont necessarily make ur legz more slender...it will tone your legs..
