Well, almost everybody is saying that they won't....Nobody expected the Steelers to win the Superbowl XL...Fast Parker is still there, Big Ben....well im sure he's going 2 do all he can 2 prove last year was not hiccup..... and Hines Ward is still catching....Many vetrans on that team will have a hard time resonding to a new coach...all in all I'm just gonna leave it as that....Just remember nobody chose the Steelers to play away in all their playoff games and come out as superbowl champions last time....So don't underestimate them....u never really know....

They have a really good chance! I really think they could've done some damage in the playoffs this year, but injuries killed them.

Bill Cowher leaving is big, but Mike Tomlin has been nothing but successful in his career.

Joey Porter was a big loss, but switching to a 4-3 defense still leaves us with 3 solid linebackers: James Farrior, Larry Foote, and Clak Haggans.

If Roethlisberger, Ward, and Polomalu can stay healthy, the Steelers have a good chance of winning the Super Bowl.

People will overlook them next year! So look out for the Pittsburgh Steelers to be the suprise of the 07-08 season.

Much as I like the steelers I just don't see them going to the superbowl this year. Between all their retirements and free agency defections since superbowl 40 along with all the coaching changes they're basically starting from scratch.

And if they don't do anything about their special teams which was giving up all that yardage on opponent's returns it will be a l______o______n______g season for them. They can't be giving their opponents half the field worth on punt and kick off returns and honestly expect to win. Especially to QBs like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. That along with all those turnovers was murdering them, this year.

I'm a Steelers fan and honestly I just don't see it happening. In part our Center retired(that is going to affect things A LOT more then Porter leaving and A LOT more then when Randle El left or other names that people will insist hurt to lose.

No, they will be lucky to finish 3rd in their own division. The Ravens will be improved and so will the Bengals, two teams who were already better than the Steelers last season.

Plus, anytime you lose your head coach (Cowher) and offensive coordinator (Whiz), the team is going to take some time to adjust.

A big key will be Ben Roethlisberger...was last year a fluke or is he really just a mediocre quarterback?

No. They wont even make the playoffs next year. The Ravens will win the division. The wildcards will go to the Broncos, Jets, or Chiefs.

I hope so, but without Coach Cowher & Joey Porter, I don't see how it'll happen.
