i need instructions on how to reboot my computer

hey people since u cant understand what i meant i know how to turn of the computer ok. if i didnt how would i ask u guys for answers??? anyway i need to know how to totally reboot the thing like when u get a virus on it or it does not perfom well to its abilty, i just want to know how to do a total recovery....is this more clear??????
