I could not find any thing that shows him as being dead!!!!!!

Paul Bearer (whose real name is William Moody and was aka Percy Pringle) is very much alive. He still does some independent shows. Below are 2 links one to his Wikipedia page and one to his personal website. They are great resources.

Last I heard the man who played him, Percy Pringle is very much alive and well. He is currently involved with a small indy fed he runs known as Gulf South Wrestling and also is an actual licensed funeral director.
