I was going to Ohio State in Columbus but I moved to Texas to escape the cold! However, my dad still lives in Ohio and I would like to go back and be near him and finish up my degree. I just want to live in Cincinnati, not Columbus. What are my options as far as colleges? Are there any public 4-year schools in Cincinnati? I am googling and doing my own research but wanted to see everyone's thoughts on this.

The University of Cincinnati (UC) is, of course, in Cincinnati, and Northern Kentucky University (NKU) is less than a half hour outside of Cincy. The main campus of Miami University is in Oxford, a 20 minute drive north of Cincy, but there are also satellite campuses in Middletown and Hamilton, and one opening soon in West Chester.

There are a few private schools as well, such as Xavier University, the College of Mount Saint Joseph, Thomas More College, and Southern Ohio College.

Maybe a branch of OSU, but other than that, no. There's also OU in Athens and Miami above Dayton.
