I don't think that he will run, especially now that it was revealed that he had an affair during his time in Congress at the time of the Clinton impeachment. That could cost him a lot of votes.
I think he prefers being a "gray eminence" (i.e., behind-the-scenes type)

I wonder what he could do as president.
I think Newt will not run for the top by be the VP.
He works better in Congress and off the radar.
