I really think it would depend on how old you are. At one time I would have said the Beach Boys. But I still like the Beatles. Although when the Beach Boys come the radio I still roll the windows down and crank up the volume and yes I sing along with them. Two of the greatest sounds around The Beach Boys and the Beatles.

Depends on what you are looking for. The Beach Boy are a great band, but their music is geared towards more summer time fun, where as the Beatles are more of a rock & roll type music. The later music of the Beatles was more spiritually influenced, as they were trying to find a religion, and it influenced their music. I think they are both equally great as far as talent, but their style of music differs a lot. I can't decide between the two either.

This is like comparing apple to oranges. You really can't compare the two because they are so different. They are both superb! The Beatles lyrics are edgier but the Beach Boys harmonies and music are more difficult than anything the Beatles did. I cannot choose one over the other.

It's not even close. The Beatles. The Beach Boys were great, but their music was very limited in style. Surf pop is outstanding, but the Beatles are the greatest pop group of all time.

Different sounds, the Beach Boys are strictly West Coast sound and the Beatles are English Rock.

I would undoubtedly say the Beatles ~ Although they are both great in their own right ~ However, the Beatles had a lot more 'hits' than the Beach Boys....statistics prove it . Hope this helps :)
