I would definitely call your Pediatrician immediately. My son has juvenile diabetes and frequent urination and throwing up is a sign of DKA (diabetic ketoacidosis). If he is acting lathargic, take him immediately to ER. My son was only 20 months old when diagnosed. I don't mean to scare you but it's better safe than sorry. Having that many wet diapers is way, way too much. Good luck to you and your son!

First off, if your child is only 11 1/2 months old, throwing up and running a temperature you should take him to the doctors. Second, are you sure the wet diapers are from urination and not from Diareha? If the heavy diapers are from urination then possibly he has a urinary tract infection which also may account for his fever and upset stomach. Take him to the doctor either way to be on the safe side - he is too young to be throwing up and not checked. Hope he is feeling better soon!

his body is filtering all the toxins out of his blood. I hope you can get him to drink because a baby can get dehydrated really fast. Try to get him to drink some pedialyte. Or gatorade. Taking a baby to the doctor can be very stressfull...the waits for er are so long! ....is he that sick?Trust your instincts.

take him to the hospital or dr and have them check him for urinary reflux. It may be normal but your dr would be able to tell you more.
