U need to go to the doctor or emergency room and let them determine whats going on.
33 weeks is very early and your babies lungs are not quite developed right now. U need to stay pregnant as long as possible to reduce the risk of health problems with u and your baby.
If u r indeed in labor, they may be able to administer meds to stop the contractions and send u home.
Its never good to have a baby earlier than ur due date.
Go get checked out just in case.
Good luck hun and congrats!! :)

probably braxton hicks but call your doctor....my doctor told me the way to tell is to drink 2 glasses of water then lay on your left side for an hour. if you have 4 or more painful contractions they are probably real. that was up till 36 weeks, after 36 they said it doesnt matter real or not come in when they are 5 mins apart. but you really should especially if this is your first pregnancy call your doctor and let them know or go to the hospital and be checked out.

females start up having contractions close to the top of their 2d trimester and into their third until the top of the being pregnant. the 1st contractions are referred to as braxton hicks. they start up as painless yet start to alter into extra noticable in the direction of the top. while actual exertions starts up the contractions are much extra painful. yet regardless of if a females have been in the early ranges of exertions they could nevertheless consume and be on myspace. it may be around the time they visit the wellbeing midsection that they'd not have the flexibility to try this stuff.

YOU WILL DEFINATELY KNOW WHEN YOU'RE IN LABOR. If they're hardcore contractions (ie., you're in the fetal position or have to breathe heavy) than you may be in labor.
But you're probably having what's called braxton hicks contractions and those are unconfortable, but not labor. But call 24 hour nurse center pr your DR and just talk to them. They'll tell you what to do.
Good luck and God bless!

Play it safe and don't try to make the diagnosis yourself. If you haven't hit 37 weeks yet and you're having four or more contractions in an hour, or have any other signs of preterm labor, call your caregiver immediately.

First you need to figure out whether they are real labour contractions or "false labour" (Braxton-Hicks) contractions. It is very common to have Braxton-Hicks at 33 weeks... they may even seem like they are coming steadily.

These contractions could be braxton hicks but if they persist and become closer in time you should see your ob/gyn as you could go into labor.

If they dont get worse or closer together then its just Braxton Hicks. But I would contact your Dr and let them know this is happening and get their Professional advice.
