8 hours usually siffices for women before their 70's. Some people require less... some more...it is an individual thing.

I think it all boils down to the individual. I usually get a good 6-8 hrs.... sleep patterns change with age. When a woman hits the good old menopause stage, sleeping patterns can be a bit weird at times. waking up, going back to sleep, waking up... ect.... Been there, done that. excersize is a help, even if it is just a nice walk. As far as HOW MUCH SLEEP? I truly believe it is the particular individual at hand and what that persons body needs.

you should be getting from 7 to 10 hours of sleep
