Your violent answer to his question shows a whole lot of ignorance, because there are plenty of dryland, bodyweight workouts that someone can do. In reality, I know that many wrestlers will not even touch a weight at high levels, but instead do high intensity bodyweight workouts. Here is a quick one that I found online.

PS: I've been swimming for going on 9 years now, I'm by no means a great swimmer but to say that it is impossible to workout without equipment is an ignorant statement. Oh and get over yourself please Bethy.

what do you mean you'd PREFER not to have equipment? are you a serious swimmer, athlete and competitor? We would all prefer to sit on the side of the pool and laugh with our friends and....oh wait our "friends" are serious and are in the pool in the regular season and OFF season working their asses off and OH LOOK is that some EQUIPMENT they are using?
I am curious as to why you are in here asking this question? Do you not have a swim coach or are you a new coach asking for help to guide your team?
I am sorry but just you asking this pathetic question is not deserving of any sort of intelligent answer from a REAL swimmer!
and to cows: stick to "wrangling" and wrestling.....

what i do is write out a couple of programs to do before i go to the pool that are not to easy but won't kill you
Then stick to the set and that way you make sure that you won't just to the warm up and then decide its two hard so make ur main set easier.
hope this helps
