I'm going away on a hockey tournament with a bunch of guys April 13th and chances are we'll be going swimming. I have a 2 piece and I actually want to feel comefortable wearing it infront of people.

How can i drop between 10-20 lbs before then?

I play hockey 6 times a week and go to the gym (haven't been lately because I have a twisted ankle) and I think I eat fairly healthy, but the weight wont come off.

Help!!

ex. This is what I ate today:

breakfast/lunch 2 eggs and 4 pieces of toast
snack 3 pieces of toast
Late afternoon snack - banana muffin
Supper...well I can't have it yet because I'm on the ice in an hour

How can I lose the weight fast?!

lol you like toast. losing 20 pounds in one month probably isnt the best idea. all i can say is slow down on the toast (bread is full of carbs)...hockey is good exercise, but run a lot. this isnt the healthiest thing to do but if i want to lose weight fast for a certain event, i will drink nothing but water for 5 days and run for an hour and a half a day, and do a dance video for 35 mins each day. lol, not good for ya, but doing it every once in a while wont hurt. i lose any where from 4 to 8 pounds doing it. or just eat fruit and veggies and water for a week or so. i hope you can do it..good luck

I heard a report today on a large study comparing a number of popular diet plans for how much weight was lost on each while keeping dieters healthy. The results were that low carb was the best solution. You are eating all carbs except the eggs in a menu like the one listed for today.

The very simplest way to do low carb is to cut out all refined flour and all sugar.

If you like to have more guidance, pick up a South Beach diet book - on half.com or somewhere you can get used books - for some balanced help - it gets you started with Phase I which is all protein, fiber and low fat; many people lose 8-10 pounds the first 1-2 weeks on this. Then it helps you transition through losing weight in Phase II to maintaining your loss along with healthy eating in Phase III.

Good luck!

Do not drink any drink with sugar. Stick to water or Diet drinks only. Do aerobic exercise for an hour each day for 6 days. Don't eat any dessert. Eat vegetables when you get a food craving before mealtime. You will notice a change within 2 weeks. The only thing I can say is, be strong and it will happen. Do not let anyone stand in your way if you want to lose weight.

I really don't think loosing the amount of weight you talked about is very healthy in such a short period of time.
A lot of people really go overboard when trying to lose weight fast and it could be harmful, make sure you check out all the facts before you get into a weight loss program or a diet. If you'd like to know more, check out my site at,
