I try to stay the hell away from Crusaders of Good, especially when they come to my door with copies of "The Watchtower," or "Dianetics," or when they turn up on bicycles, wearing little short-sleeved white shirts and skinny black ties. Most self-styled Crusaders of Good want to EAT YOUR BRAIN. Right after they take all your money.

I'd rather just keep my own brand of happy evil to myself, thanks.

Most self-styled "crusaders of good" are unknowingly serving evil because their actions cause conflict and infringe on the rights of others. They seem to assume that they are so perfect that they have a God-given mandate to interfere in other's lives. Examples include Torquemada and his Inquisition, the Salem "witch" trials, oppressive Islamic regimes such as the Taliban, the "moral right" of America, and so on and so forth. I believe in being a Paladin - a warrior of Light - who not only leads by example in living a virtuous life, but can also kick evils' a** if it comes looking for trouble. The code of Honor, Truth, and Chivalry guides my actions, thoughts, and deeds. I am the type of person that lives for the rare times when we can draw our swords, raise our shields, and charge into battle to protect innocents. In our case we are not "pushing" our beliefs down someone else's throats, but we see a need to act when tyrants, bullies, and villians prey on the weak and defenseless.
