I want to build this motor and get as much H.P.as possible and still have a reliable motor and still pass Calif. smog laws.

crappy heads/no speed parts...i got a 1999 4.3 Maybe turbp or supercharger...cam and headers air cleaner r about it. You tell me im ready, mine has 125000.. lets hop it up

Stop at your local Chevrolet dealer and at the parts counter grab a 2007 GM Performance parts Catalog. The part number is19170580. Inside you'll find some nasty 18 degree 262 (4.3) Chevy aluminum heads. There's also an aluminum block. Three intake manifolds that will make you go blind. #1. A cast iron four barrel model. #2. An aluminum high rise four barrel unit. #3. A raised runner intake with a removable top so that you can bolt it on to the cylinder heads. These 18 degree aluminum heads will make you go nuts! Get the catalog you'll see that you heard it here first.

I think Edelbrock makes heads for a 4.3, but I don't know if they will fit a newer model. Get a Supercharger. Supercharging the truck will get you close to 300 hp.

the distinctive s-seriers factors will in good condition i think of the frames are an identical on the front yet longer interior the rear. i might examine the 4by4 internet sittes to make certain you get the best factors for what your doing.
