Hi helpers! This is kinda worrying me to the point of panic attacks. My girlfriend was raped 6 years ago, and again 2 years ago.

During sexual intercourse, she has a pain like period pains, in the same place as period pains. I really really really want to know what this could be, as we are both extremely worried.

Any professional help would be so appreciated. With all due respect, if you are not sure about this, please don't leave an answer. I don't want to have to worry about things that may not be the case.

Thank you so much in advance, everyone!

If its that bad why haven't you gotten her to a doctor yet? It may not actually be a period pain, maybe its more psychological and its kinda bringing back unpleasent memories of her being raped. Flashbacks are common in sexually assulted victims.

Go to a doctor just to be safe and make sure she doesn't have a cyst or pelvic inflammatory disease or something

Good luck

Could be anything, from:

-Scarring from vaginal tearing from the rape(s).
-Vaginismus, or involubtary tightening of the vaginal muscles. This often appears after rape, and in this case would be psychological, unless she also has physical damage. There are other causes as well. This can be overcome with help.
-An infection (yeast, STD, etc.)
-Endometriosis. This is a condition that is not related to her being raped.
-Cysts, or in very rare cases, cancer. Cancer is very unlikely unless she has pain the majority of the time and/or bleeding.

You are a great guy, and please continue to support her. You will need help as a couple to work through this. An exam by a medical doctor is needed here. Please make an appointment and go from there.

Best wishes!

Its not a real pain, Its trama pain and is created from her mind even if she does not know. Its the bodys way of protecting its self. The pain is pointed in the mental heath field. due to multiple rapes.

Is it soreness once you've sex in a particular position? some women individuals have soreness even as they have sex contained in the "rear get entry to" position ("domestic dog type"). this may be depending on the lay out of her anatomy. She could likely have lesions in her uterus (endometriosis) which could reason her to have pains for the duration of sex. She could actually have something occurring with her cervix. there are a range of many stuff which could reason soreness for the duration of sex, and he or she needs to flow see her well being care service. fantastically with her unlucky historic previous, she needs to have a reliable courting with her OB/GYN and be examined for all STDs, regardless of the truth that if she became examined after the rapes. each now and then we do not coach actual indications of STDs until eventually a lengthy time period after we receive them. yet another threat is that there is lingering emotional trauma over her rapes causing psychosomatic issues. All aspects of her well being and correctly-being truly favor to be considered. I wish you each and each of the luck, both one among you. and that i wish that you will be encouraging to her to hunt the medical advice she needs and be there for her no count number number what the outcomes.

Go see a doctor.

The pain in period pains is in the uterus - it could be lots of things from nothing at all to a huge tumour - asking on the internet is foolish - go see a doctor.

Go see a doctor.

Now.

Get her to the doctors. It could be psychological, it could be real. If it's real and you leave it and you would never forgive yourself. That would be the real place to ask for professional help too, IMO.

you should both go to the std clinic at your local hospital to ensure no infections or disease are present, if all clear then go to your GP and get checked out for ovarian cysts or similar.
