OMG SHAUN!!! I can't believe you would even ask that. 100% Mary J Blige!!!! Her register is better by a long shot. She just has a better all around voice. Toni braxton couldn't hit a remotely high note if she wanted to. Shes not even that good in person, I can sing better then her. lol. That's why she fell off. Once she got out of the love ballades it was over for her. She just has no range. I do still like her old stuff tho I wont lie but I'd never go to her concert. Mary j will be around for a while. I think Toni will try to make a come back but i don't think she'll make it.

I like Toni but she can not compete with Mary J. Mary J. just has something about her and a really great voice. Mary J. is an inspiration for all women and anyone who has had a rough time of it. She shows us that life is what you make it.

Mary J. Blige THE QUEEN OF HIP HOP SOUL!! When she sings she sings with all her heart and soul. You can just feel her heart when she sings and she kills it everytime. I love when she performs live! Hands down she is one of the greatest singers of all time and a legend.

I LOVE THEM BOTH!
But i def think toni had some very original romantic love songs back in the day, that I still play ever now and then.
But I would say personally I love them both (esp TONI)
